I’ve been eating some unsalted pistachios almost every day for a few weeks now. They are probably better for me than lots of other things I could eat as snacks. I began eating them because I had read that they could help in lowering cholesterol levels in the blood. I have no idea whether that’s true. In a couple of months I’ll be seeing the physician for a test of cholesterol levels. I shall see whether there is any difference.
I throw the empty shells on the ground in the yard. I put a few around flowers since slugs don’t like to crawl where the shells are, so I understand. I also use the shells to fill in some spots near the street where there has been some soil erosion.
